Long Lake 58 First Nation Education Authority
is currently looking to fill the following position for the 2026/2027 school year
with possibility for extension at
Migizi Wazisin Elementary School
Education Assistant
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Diploma in the field would be an asset
- Work experience in the field would be an asset
- Work experience in a school setting would be an asset
- Ability to work under supervision and independently
- Must work effectively as part of a team
- Must have strong written and communication skills
- To work with individual student and in group settings
- Familiar with privacy, confidentiality, and duty to report;
Will provide assistance with: Knowledge of privacy, confidentiality, and duty to report. Knowledge of community support services, First Nation culture, history, community- based services, geographic realities and social conditions within First Nations Communities.
