The Role
We are looking for an experienced Site Supervisor to lead field operations across our
commercial projects. You will be the senior field presence on our sites: overseeing installation
crews, holding the quality and safety standard on every job, coordinating with general
contractor site teams, and keeping work on schedule. You will work above our crew lead and
report directly to ownership. New hires receive a structured onboarding and hands-on
mentorship from current leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate site crews across multiple commercial millwork and installation
projects
Own quality control: inspect finished work and ensure it meets specification and a high
finish standard
Lead site safety and ensure compliance with OH&S and client site requirements, including
WSCC requirements on Northwest Territories projects
Liaise with general contractor superintendents, attend site meetings, and manage RFIs,
deficiencies and punch lists
Read and interpret shop drawings, blueprints and project specifications
Plan and sequence on-site work and coordinate materials, deliveries and manpower with
the office
Mentor and develop the crew lead and installers
Track progress and report to ownership, flagging risks to schedule, budget or quality early
What You Bring
5 or more years in commercial construction, millwork, finishing carpentry or installation,
including at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead role
Journeyman Carpenter certification or equivalent hands-on trade experience; millwork or
commercial glazing and installation background an asset
A strong eye for finish quality and attention to detail
Solid working knowledge of OH&S, with current safety tickets (WHMIS, fall protection,
first aid); COR or NCSO an asset
Comfortable reading drawings and specifications and coordinating with general
contractors
Valid Class 5 driver's license and clean abstract, and willingness to travel to sites across
Alberta and occasionally to the Northwest Territories
Your own reliable work truck (required for the role; a per-kilometre allowance is provided
for work travel)
Strong communication and people-leadership skills, reliable and self-directed, and open to
learning our standards and systems
What We Offer
Competitive salary and a senior field leadership role with real autonomy
Direct access to ownership and a clear say in how jobs run
Structured onboarding and mentorship from current leadership
Per-kilometre allowance for all work-related travel
(Add: benefits, tool allowance, etc. if applicable)
