Territory Manager will be responsible for growing all Parallel 49 Brewing products in retail and hospitality accounts through effective management, development, and execution of sales strategies in the designated territory. Adherence to distribution targets and route plans will be critical for the success in this position. The ability to manage multiple brands in both beer and RTD beverages will also be key to this role. Understanding the beverage alcohol industry, including profitability margins and markups will be integral. A dedication to detail in consumer promotion in both the retail and on-premise channels is necessary, with attention to needs analysis skills during interaction with customers. Integrity, passion, innovative thinking and in-person presentation skills are essential for this role.
Duties and Responsibilities

Meet or exceed territory sales volume objectives while achieving personal and corporate objectives

Manage & achieve and be accountable for annual budget objectives, including volume, distribution and trade expenditure categories.

Service and support all retail and select on-premise customers, while growing their passion for our products.

Effectively manage and ensure freshness of products and FIFO principles

Emphasis on retail space and planning for effective placement of Parallel 49 Brewing Company products at retail store level

Follow corporate call procedures to ensure all merchandising and objectives are met through CRM.

Execute marketing-based programs while creating independent/specific sales programs for customers when opportunities present.

Demonstrate ability to effectively communicate and deliver compelling presentations and/or training sessions

Analyze and report on territory sales performance on a monthly basis.

Plan and execute and attend events within the assigned sales territory

Complete administrative duties on time such as: quarterly, monthly and weekly call plan trackers, customer visit trackers, customer account trackers, pricing surveys, expenses, etc.
Qualifications
2 - 5 years merchandising or sales experience in the Alcohol Beverage industry and/or other consumer packaged goods organization is preferred
You must have and maintain a provincial valid driver’s license in good standing with no limitations/restrictions
Must be of legal drinking age and hold a valid Serving it Right certificate
Exceptional verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
Business level English language proficiency is required
Strong work ethic and dedication to reaching and exceeding personal sales goals
Effective time management skills and the ability to work well independently with minimal supervision
Demonstrated ability in negotiation and sales
Passion for craft beer and RTD beverages

Previous experience with CRM Software is an asset
A comprehensive understanding of beer styles, production methods, and trends is an asset
