Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Welder/Fabricator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding and fabrication processes, with the ability to interpret blueprints and schematics. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects, including ductwork, structural components, and custom fabrications, utilizing various welding techniques and fabrication tools. Candidates should possess mechanical knowledge and experience with industrial equipment to ensure high-quality workmanship and safety compliance.
Duties
- Perform MIG welding on various materials, including steel, , and stainless steel
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine specifications and fabrication requirements
- Operate fabrication equipment such as, press brake machines, power tools, and hand tools
- Use calipers and other measuring devices to ensure precise cuts and welds
- Rigging materials and components for assembly or installation using cranes or forklifts
- Fabricate parts by cutting, shaping, welding, and assembling metal components according to project specifications
- Conduct quality inspections of welds and fabricated parts to ensure adherence to standards
- Assist in assembly processes as needed, including working with schematics and technical instructions
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols related to welding, machining, and construction activities
Experience
- Proven experience in MIG and TIG welding within a manufacturing or construction setting
- Mechanical knowledge of machinery such as plasma cutters, press brakes, cranes, forklifts, and machining tools
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, calipers, and basic math for measurements and calculations
- Experience working with ductwork or in construction environments is preferred
- Knowledge of rigging techniques for lifting heavy components safely using cranes or forklifts
- Prior experience with schematics reading and assembly tasks is advantageous
- Certification in welding or fabrication is a plus but not required; relevant hands-on experience is essential

Pay: $22.50-$30.00 per hour
