We are seeking a reliable and experienced DZ ( preferably AZ)Truck Driver to join our team. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting gravel / asphalt to various jobsites. This position requires excellent driving skills with a clean abstract. We welcome and encourage AZ Drivers to apply as there are days we need extra machinery moved to and from jobsites.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate dump trucks
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving
- Plan routes and ensure timely delivery of materials
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance tasks
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption
- Communicate effectively with team members
- Follow asphalt plant / gravel pit rules.
- Experience in the construction field an asset.
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Proven experience as a truck driver
- Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures
