The Cutting Operator at Stickerbeat operates the Zund to cut stickers, magnets, and decals, ensuring that color, quality, and quantity meet company standards. They collaborate with the production team, track equipment settings, maintain equipment, and keep a clean workspace to ensure a smooth and efficient cutting process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cutting: Operates the Zund to cut stickers, magnets, and decals.
- Quality Control: Monitors the cutting process to ensure that colour, quality, and quantity meet Stickerbeat's standards for each job. Identifies and addresses any defects or inconsistencies immediately to ensure product integrity
- Tracking & Organizing: Keeps track of equipment settings and specifications. Ensures that the correct settings are used for each type of job, maintaining consistency and quality across all jobs.
- Team Coordination: Collaborates with the production team to ensure smooth communication and coordination of jobs.
- Equipment Maintenance: Follows daily and weekly maintenance schedules to keep all cutting equipment clean and in optimal working condition.
- Work Environment: Maintains a clean and organized workspace, ensuring a safe and efficient shop floor.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- English language knowledge/ability – speaking, listening, reading and writing.
- Experience in Manufacturing/production environment is not needed but a plus
- Good communication skills
- Must have basic computer skills
- Ability to follow instructions
- Critical thinking
- Ability to multitask
- Ability to lift 75lbs or more
