Position Summary
The Sales Associate is responsible for delivering an exceptional customer experience while supporting daily store operations. This role involves assisting customers, maintaining store presentation standards, processing transactions, and contributing to overall sales goals. The ideal candidate is energetic, customer-focused, and thrives in a fast-paced retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly, professional, and timely manner.
- Provide product knowledge and recommendations to help customers make informed purchasing decisions.
- Support the achievement of store sales goals and performance targets.
- Operate cash registers and process transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and visual merchandising standards.
- Restock merchandise and assist with inventory management as needed.
- Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and returns in a professional manner.
- Support daily operational tasks including opening, closing, and recovery procedures.
- Work collaboratively with team members to create a positive shopping experience.
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous retail or customer service experience is an asset.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Friendly, approachable, and customer-service oriented.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
- Reliable, flexible, and team-oriented.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
