Position Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and creative Workshop Facilitators to lead interactive STEAM-based workshops for children. The ideal candidate is passionate about education, enjoys working with kids, and can create fun, engaging learning experiences that encourage collaboration and critical thinking.
We are looking for candidates based in Brampton and have means to travel via their own car to different school locations. We will be paying for the mileage.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate engaging STEAM workshops and training sessions for children
- Deliver workshop agendas and hands-on activities aligned with learning objectives
- Create and maintain a positive, inclusive, and energetic learning environment
- Encourage participation, teamwork, creativity, and problem-solving among participants
- Provide guidance, feedback, and support to children throughout workshop activities
- Adapt facilitation style and materials to suit different age groups and learning needs
- Evaluate workshop effectiveness and suggest improvements
- Stay up to date with STEAM education trends, best practices, and innovative learning approaches
Requirements
- Strong communication and facilitation skills
- Ability to maneuver content and deliver engaging, age-appropriate workshop content
- Experience working with children in educational, camp, or workshop settings (Strongly preferred)
- Interest or background in STEAM subjects (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Math)
- High energy, creativity, and a passion for hands-on learning
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage workshop logistics
- Reliable, professional, and able to work flexible hours
