Overview

Responsibilities
- Operate CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, and other woodworking machinery such as press brake machines to cut, shape, and assemble wood components with precision.
- Program CNC machines using CAD (Computer-Aided Design) files and CNC programming techniques to produce complex parts efficiently.
- Read and interpret detailed blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate manufacturing of wood products.
- Use hand tools, calipers, and other measuring devices to verify dimensions and maintain quality control standards throughout production.
- Set up and maintain equipment like Fanuc controllers and programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for optimal operation.
- Perform welding and assembly tasks as needed to complete finished products according to specifications.
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols; operate forklifts for material handling within the warehouse or manufacturing floor.
Requirements
- Proven experience operating CNC machinery such as CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, or similar equipment in a manufacturing setting.
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, mechanical principles, and machining processes.
- Familiarity with CAD software like SolidWorks for designing or modifying parts.
- Ability to program CNC machines using Fanuc controls or similar systems; experience with CNC programming is highly preferred.
- Competence in welding, assembly, and the use of hand tools for finishing projects.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to machining tasks.
- Warehouse experience including forklift operation certification is a plus.
- Knowledge of quality control procedures to ensure products meet specifications.
- Understanding of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for machine automation control systems.

Pay: $17.60-$21.00 per hour
