Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed project estimates by analyzing blueprints, specifications, and project requirements.
- Collaborate with sales and project teams to develop accurate pricing strategies.
- Utilize Bluebeam and HeavyBid software to enhance estimating accuracy.
- Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to secure the best prices.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion of estimates.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, materials, and pricing.
- Support project managers during the bidding process and project execution.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction estimating, especially within roofing or exteriors.
- Strong negotiation skills to secure favorable terms.
- Proficiency in Bluebeam, HeavyBid, and project management tools.
- Excellent communication skills for client interactions.
- Ability to interpret blueprints and technical documents.
- Knowledge of Canadian building codes and standards is a plus.
- Construction experience is highly valued.
