Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable, safety-focused individual to serve as both Pool Attendent and Lifeguard. This dual role is responsible for maintaining safe swimming conditions and pool facility standards, as well as actively supervising swimmers and responding to emergencies. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the pool operates smoothly and safely for all users.
Duties
- Monitor pool activities to ensure the safety of all swimmers and guests.
- Enforce pool rules and regulations to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Perform regular pool maintenance tasks, including cleaning and chemical balancing.
- Provide first aid and CPR as needed in emergency situations.
- Assist with guest services, addressing inquiries and providing information about facility amenities.
- Conduct routine inspections of pool equipment and facilities to ensure proper functioning.
- Participate in training sessions to maintain lifeguard certification and enhance skills.
Skills
- Proficient swimming abilities with lifeguard experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of first aid procedures and CPR certification.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required for equipment maintenance.
- Experience in pool maintenance and cleaning practices is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills for effective guest interaction.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to remain alert during shifts.
