This is an excellent opportunity for a Project Manager who enjoys taking ownership of projects from preconstruction through closeout while building lasting relationships with clients, consultants, and trade partners.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Lead the successful delivery of construction projects from award through completion
Develop project execution plans, budgets, schedules, and procurement strategies
Manage project financial performance, including forecasting, billings, cost reporting, and change management
Work closely with Site Superintendents to develop and maintain project schedules while proactively managing risks
Coordinate tendering, trade procurement, contract administration, and subcontractor management
Chair project meetings and maintain strong communication with clients, consultants, and project stakeholders
Promote a strong safety culture and ensure all work is executed in accordance with health and safety requirements
Provide leadership and mentorship to project team members while fostering a collaborative environment
Build and maintain strong client relationships by consistently delivering exceptional project outcomes
Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, quality, and overall project performance
About You
The successful candidate will have the following:
8+ years of Project Management experience within the ICI construction industry
Degree or diploma in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline
Proven experience managing multiple stakeholders while delivering projects on schedule and within budget
Strong knowledge of project scheduling, budgeting, contract administration, and cost control
Experience leading project teams and mentoring junior staff
Proficiency with MS Project and other construction management software
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
A stable career history with a proven track record of successfully delivering complex construction projects
