Our client, a well-established full service plumbing, heating, cooling and electrical company based in Owen Sound, ON, is currently looking for a Licensed Plumber to assist at their busy Owen Sound location. This is a full-service position working with both commercial and residential clients to perform a variety of tasks including general repairs, maintenance, and installation. This is a permanent, full-time role with a salary range between $35 - $45 per hour based on experience.

About The Role
The successful candidate will have experience working in residential, commercial and industrial plumbing. Be confident and comfortable with their skill level regarding installations, repairs and maintenance of piping systems, fixtures and other plumbing equipment used for water distribution, drainage and waste disposal.
Responsibilities
- Planning, Installing, Repairing & Maintaining Residential, Commercial & Industrial Plumbing Fixtures & Systems
- Installing The Piping for Any Process, Including The Conveyance of Gas, Or Any Tubing For a Pneumatic or Air-Handling System
- Reading & Understanding Design Drawings, Manufacturers’ Literature & Installation Diagrams for Piping & Appliances
- Locating, Marking & Cutting Openings in Walls & Floors to Accommodate Pipe & Pipe Fittings
- Measuring, Cutting, Bending & Threading Pipes Using Hand & Power Tools or Machines
- Joining Pipes Using Couplings, Clamps, Screws, Bolts, Cement or Soldering, Brazing & Welding Equipment
- Testing Pipes for Leaks Using Air & Water Pressure Gauges
- Occasional on-call rotation required, approximately every 4–5 weeks
Qualifications
- Holding Trade Certificate or Red Seal
- Providing Standard Safety Equipment
- Holding G2 Gas (Preferred)
- Maintaining Back Flow Certification (Preferred)
- Holding Valid G Drivers Licence
