Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Plumbing Apprentice / Journeyman to join our team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop technical skills and advance within the plumbing industry. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in mechanical systems, new construction / plumbing service, and blueprint reading, with a commitment to safety and quality workmanship. This position involves hands-on work in residential, commercial, and industrial plumbing projects, providing essential services that ensure the proper functioning of plumbing systems.
Duties
- Assist with installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems according to blueprints and schematics
- Engage with clients in a friendly and professional manner
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute project plans accurately
- Perform basic math calculations for measurements, quantities, and material estimates
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency
- Support senior plumbers in troubleshooting complex plumbing issues using diagnostic techniques
- Conduct routine inspections and perform preventative maintenance on plumbing systems
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, welding techniques, and assembly processes is advantageous
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
- Basic math skills necessary for measurements and calculations related to plumbing projects
- Knowledge of schematics and system layouts is beneficial
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail in troubleshooting plumbing issues
- Commitment to safety protocols and maintaining a clean work environment
