We are seeking an experienced Wood Finisher to join our dynamic team at our Casegoods Division in Kitchener.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Inspect product for finishing issues i.e. wiper marks, toner, to ensure compliance with Quality Standards.
Set up and adjust spray equipment (air pressure and gun settings) depending on product being applied.
Dispense and mix finishing material as required in accordance with the established procedure.
Maintain equipment, cleans guns and is responsible for colour changes.
Remove white wood scratches and dents.
Observe safe work practices; maintains a neat and orderly work area.
Perform other duties assigned by the Team Leader.
REQUIREMENTS:
Grade 12 education or equivalent.
1 - 3 years experience (preferably in woodworking).
Working knowledge of spray equipment.
Must pass a colour test.
Full A-level skill set is required to obtain full rate.
Must wear a N95 mask for certain operations
