Etch Hair Design is an award winning Japanese salon looking to hire talented individuals! We have an open position for a Junior/Intermediate Stylist at our Beacon Hill location.

Junior Stylist Qualifications:
- Completion of hairdressing diploma
- 1+ years of customer service experience
Intermediate Stylist Qualifications:
-Completion of hairdressing diploma
-2+ years of salon experience
Our salon offers very STRICT and INTENSE training to those who are driven and goal oriented. Having a strong mentality and being able to receive criticism is a must! In this company, there will be lots of growing opportunities for those who have the potential to become an amazing stylist. After 3 months of training, you will slowly begin to accept clients and build your skills and clientele with hands on experience! Etch Hair offers the opportunity to become a self-sufficient stylist after two years, a timeframe that sets us apart from other salon training models.
As a Junior Stylist at Etch Hair, you will be expected to:
- Assist stylists on the floor (ie. with colour application, shampooing, blowdrying and styling).
- Reception: take phone calls and answer client inquiries
- Help keep the salon clean and organized
- Train through senior stylists guidance in chemical services and styling
- One on one training for Japanese cutting techniques
