Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Workers (PSWs) to provide high-quality care to a golden ager.
IT IS MANDATORY THAT THE CANDIDATES MUST BE CERTIFIED HCA & REGISTERED WITH CLHA. ANOTHER ABSOLUTE REQUIREMENT IS THAT THEY MUST BE URDU/HINDI SPEAKING MUSLIM LADY!
Duties
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility assistance
- Support with medication administration following prescribed guidelines
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and preferences
- Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning and laundry to maintain a safe and comfortable living space
- Monitor clients’ health status and report any changes or concerns to healthcare professionals or family members
- Assist with transfers and positioning to prevent falls or injuries
- Document care provided accurately in accordance with facility or agency policies
Experience
- Prior experience working with seniors in assisted living, nursing homes, or home care environments is preferred
- Knowledge of medication administration procedures is a must.
- Previous caregiving experience demonstrating patience, empathy, and professionalism is essential
Candidates should be committed to providing respectful and dignified care while maintaining safety standards at all times.
Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
