Job Overview
We are seeking a Senior IT Project Manager to lead multiple high-priority, complex, and long-term projects and programs within a media and technology environment. The role involves providing strong project leadership to plan, manage, implement, and deliver technical solutions that meet business and client requirements.
You will oversee end-to-end project execution, ensuring alignment with business strategies, stakeholder expectations, and organizational goals. This role requires strong leadership, cross-functional coordination, and the ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
This is a full-time, permanent position.
Job DescriptionPrimary Responsibilities
- Accountable for successful delivery of assigned projects, ensuring measurable results and business benefits
- Manage the full project lifecycle from initiation through delivery and closure
- Lead projects ensuring effective cross-functional collaboration, communication, quality standards, and continuous improvement
- Provide leadership in planning, managing, implementing, and delivering complex technical solutions across business units
- Engage stakeholders to define, align, and manage project outcomes
- Establish project governance, oversight, and escalation structures
- Develop project scope, define deliverables, build consensus, and manage stakeholder expectations
- Plan, implement, and deliver business and system solutions within complex environments
- Monitor project budgets and ensure financial tracking and accountability
- Manage multiple high-complexity projects simultaneously
- Identify, evaluate, and document risks, issues, constraints, and dependencies
- Document current and future state processes with business validation and sign-off
- Implement and manage change control processes
- Provide ongoing communication to stakeholders including sponsors and business owners
- Deliver timely and accurate reporting on milestones, risks, and project performance
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders
- Lead implementation planning and execution activities
Skills, Education & Experience
- Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field (asset)
- 7+ years of project management experience
- Strong experience in business requirements gathering, project planning, implementation, and evaluation
- Experience with IT infrastructure projects (e.g., POS upgrades, firewall/switch/network upgrades)
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize and execute in high-pressure environments
- Proven experience managing projects of increasing size and complexity
- Strong end-to-end project lifecycle delivery experience
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams with a customer-focused approach
- Strong conflict resolution and stakeholder management experience
- Experience in risk identification and mitigation
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Project, PowerPoint, Excel, and Visio
- Valid Ontario Class G Driver’s License and access to a vehicle for business travel (mileage compensated)
- Strong decision-making ability and sound judgment

- Strong written and verbal communication skills with professionalism and integrity
- PMP certification is considered an asset
Pay: $80,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
