Job Overview,
Service Department Supervisor to assist in a Fast-Paced Plumbing, Heating and Air Conditioning company, Bridges the gap between dispatch and the Service Manager. Manages a team of technicians, ensuring end-to-end service delivery—from call intake to work order completion—and owns customer relationships. Works closely with service dispatch to coordinate the field team and organize the work. Are constantly in contact with the field mentoring, supporting and following up on all outstanding items.
Key Responsibilities:
- End-to-End Process Ownership: Ensure calls are assigned appropriately, work is completed to the Active Mechanical standard, and paperwork is completely in a timely manner. The key to Active Mechanical’s success in service is response time and customer communication, the Service Supervisor owns this responsibility and is expected to perform daily follow ups on service calls and open work orders.
- Team & Customer Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with both technicians and customers. Technicians report to the Service Supervisor.
- Technical & Administrative Support: Create quotes, manage scheduling escalations, order materials, and provide guidance to technicians.
- Quality & Profitability Oversight: Review work orders, verify technician notes, ensure accurate cost capture, and drive team profitability. Accountable for work order processing times.

Perform supervisor roles,

Resolving customer issues, keeping customer retention and follow ups,

Create work schedules and On Call schedules,
Ability to prioritize different workloads,
Ensuring company policies and procedures are being followed,
Deal one on one with Technicians.

Job Type: Full-time 8:00am – 4:30pm, Monday – Friday.
Competitive Salary based on experience.
