We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Heritage Carpenter to join our team. Responsibilities
- Perform restoration work on historic buildings, including woodwork, siding, painting
- Utilize hand tools, power tools safely and effectively.
- Handle heavy lifting safely during material movement or assembly tasks.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment adhering to safety standards at all times.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in carpentry, woodworking, or construction with a focus on heritage or restoration projects preferred.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools and other relevant equipment.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work at heights or in confined spaces when required.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to craftsmanship quality standards.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to various project requirements.
- Valid certifications or licenses related to carpentry or construction are advantageous but not mandatory. Pay: $21.42-$40.91 per hour
