Bolson Engineering and Environmental Services is looking to fill an intermediate construction estimating position based out of Edmonton, AB with occasional travel to surrounding areas as required. The position would require preparation of project tenders/proposal documents/schedules, estimates for fixed fee projects/time & material projects, ability to read construction drawings for quantity take-offs, monitoring of project budget/expenses/schedule and management of material procurement. Certification with AACE or similar organization would be considered an advantage. A highly motivated individual with excellent written/oral communication skills as well as the ability to work with a team people from various construction backgrounds/experience would be considered an asset.
Required Experience:
- Construction Estimating: 2-4 years
Required Certification/Licensing:
- Class 5 Driver’s License (candidate must have own transportation).
Required Software Experience/Skillsets:
- Microsoft Office and Project
