We are seeking a Junior Graphic Artist to join our talented & dedicated team that brings exciting designs & ideas to life on a daily. 3+ years of design experience is essential as well as an understanding of fashion graphics, screen printing & product development. Knowledge of shopify platform, social media assets & marketing initiatives is a bonus.
You will be responsible for working with the Senior Graphic Artist in various aspects of the design & production process.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Create, develop and edit detailed technical graphic packages, including detailed technical sketches in Adobe Illustrator and Technical trims
- Create Production artwork Tech packs
- Create CADS for customers
- Sizing up graphics & prepping for screen printing
- Selecting print & embroidery colors
- Prepping Films for screen printing
- Strong knowledge of design savvy & fonts
- Ability to manage changing priorities to keep on track to meet established deadlines
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure alignment and focus on key strategies to support the objectives of the division.
- Work closely with the senior graphic artist to ensure the styling and quality from development stage of each product to final production.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in similar role
- A diploma in graphic design.
- Bilingualism (English and French) an asset.
- Strong communication skill and organized
- Must be able to work autonomously and with little supervision.
- Be able to work at a fast pace.
- Strong time management skills and work well under pressure, Ability to multitask & meet tight deadlines.
- Must be a team player.
Pay: $40,000.00-$47,000.00 per year
