Community Broadband Ambassador (Contract)
Saskatchewan Rural Broadband Expansion Project
TechConnect is seeking energetic, personable, and self-motivated individuals to join our team as Community Broadband Ambassadors supporting a major fibre optic network expansion project across rural Saskatchewan.
This is an excellent opportunity for college and university students, recent graduates, or individuals looking for flexible contract work throughout the summer and fall.
About the Role
As a Community Broadband Ambassador, you will visit homes located within newly constructed fibre optic service areas to introduce residents to upcoming broadband services and obtain consent for a follow-up discussion with a network sales representative.
This is not a sales position. You will not be required to sell services, negotiate contracts, or collect payments. Your role is simply to educate residents on the benefits of fibre internet and identify households interested in learning more.
What You'll Do
- Visit homes within designated rural communities and fibre build areas
- Introduce residents to the new fibre network being deployed in their area
- Explain the benefits of fibre optic internet versus traditional wireless or copper-based services
- Answer basic questions regarding broadband connectivity
- Obtain permission for interested residents to be contacted by a sales representative
- Record interactions using company-provided tools and processes
- Represent TechConnect and our client professionally at all times
Compensation
- $150 daily per diem
- $25 to $35 for every qualified homeowner who agrees to speak with a sales representative

Requirements
