Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Controller with CPA certification to oversee and manage our company's financial operations. The ideal candidate will bring extensive accounting expertise, strong leadership skills, and proficiency in various accounting software to ensure accurate financial reporting, compliance, and strategic financial planning. Duties
- Manage all aspects of financial reporting, including preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure timely and accurate transactions
- Supervise payroll processing and ensure compliance with relevant regulations
- Conduct account reconciliations and perform detailed account analysis to identify discrepancies or irregularities
- Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial plans aligned with organizational goals
- Maintain and optimize accounting software systems, familiar with LightSpeed is an asset
- Ensure compliance with tax laws, audit requirements, and internal controls
- Lead audits and coordinate with external auditors as needed
- Provide strategic financial insights to senior management for decision-making purposes
Qualifications
- CPA certification is required; additional certifications are a plus
- Proven experience in accounting management or financial controlling roles (in an automotive dealership is an asset)
- Strong proficiency in accounting software and other accounting tools
- Extensive knowledge of accounting principles, accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, budgeting, and account reconciliation
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data
- Strong leadership abilities with effective communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
- Detail-oriented with high standards for accuracy and compliance

Pay: $70,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
