Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities
- Ensure the rights and dignity of residents are respected and upheld.
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment (Group Home).
- Assist with meal preparation and ensure dietary needs are met.
- Implement behavior management strategies as directed by supervisors.
- Document and maintain accurate records of resident progress and activities.
Skills:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with residents, their families, and other staff members.
- Ability to handle challenging behaviors with patience and empathy.
- First aid and CPR certification preferred.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Must be able to acquire a BC unrestricted class 4 drivers license
