We're looking for a friendly, organized, and enthusiastic Salon Receptionist with at least 2 years of retail or customer service experience to join our team.
This position is perfect for someone who enjoys creating exceptional customer experiences and keeping things running smoothly. It's also a fantastic opportunity for a licensed hairstylist who loves the salon industry but is looking for a front-of-house role rather than working behind the chair.
What You'll Do
- Welcome every guest with a warm and genuine smile.
- Book and manage appointments.
- Answer phones and respond to client inquiries.
- Check clients in and out while processing payments.
- Recommend and sell professional hair care products.
- Create engaging social media posts that showcase our salon, services, products, promotions, and team culture.
- Offer refreshments and help create a relaxing guest experience.
- Maintain a clean, organized reception area.
- Support the salon team with daily operations.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 2 years of retail or customer service experience.
- Outstanding communication and people skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- A positive attitude and professional appearance.
- Confidence in retail sales and product recommendations.
- Comfortable creating content for social media platforms such as Instagram and Facebook.
- Comfortable working evenings and Saturdays.
- Experience in a salon or spa is an asset—but not required.
