Job Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Fishing Guide to lead and enhance the fishing experience for clients of all skill levels. This role involves guiding groups on fishing excursions, sharing expertise about local fish species, and ensuring safety and enjoyment throughout the trip.. Duties
- Lead guided fishing trips, ensuring safety and adherence to all regulations
- Educate clients on local fish species, baiting techniques, and best practices for catch-and-release
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with clients, answering questions, and fostering a positive environment
- Manage time effectively to ensure timely departure and return from excursions
- Maintain fishing equipment and ensure boats or fishing gear are in proper working condition
- Demonstrate leadership by guiding groups of varying sizes and skill levels with professionalism and patience
- Communicate effectively with clients, providing instructions clearly and confidently
- Teach fishing techniques to beginners or those seeking to improve their skills
- Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of all equipment and facilities
