Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and physically capable Laborer to support our warehouse management and shop operations. The ideal candidate will assist with loading, unloading, order picking, and operating heavy equipment to ensure smooth workflow. This role offers an opportunity to gain experience in heavy equipment, and construction/mining environments within a dynamic team setting.
Duties
- Load and unload materials using forklifts or other heavy equipment
- Operate cranes and other machinery safely to move large or heavy items
- Pick and pack orders accurately
- Assist with shipping and receiving tasks to ensure timely delivery of goods
- Support construction-related activities, including heavy lifting and material handling
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals
- Follow safety protocols for heavy equipment operation and warehouse/shop procedures
Skills
- Previous experience in heavy equipment/shop related fields preferred
- Mechanical knowledge
- Experience with order pickers, cranes, forklifts, hauling parts on flat decks
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and operate heavy equipment safely
- Knowledge of shipping & receiving processes and procedures
- Construction experience is a plus, including load & unload activities
- Excellent physical stamina for long periods of standing, lifting, and moving heavy loads
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team

Pay: $28.00-$32.00 per hour
