Responsibilities
- Diagnose mechanical issues on machinery and equipment using appropriate tools and techniques
- Perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent breakdowns and extend equipment lifespan
- Repair or replace faulty components, ensuring safety and compliance standards are met
- Conduct inspections to identify potential problems before they escalate
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate repair schedules and minimize downtime
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete repairs efficiently
- Follow safety protocols at all times to ensure a safe working environment
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a mechanic or in a similar technical role
- Strong mechanical knowledge across various systems and machinery types
- Proficiency with hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, etc.
- Experience with power tools including drills, grinders, and impact drivers is preferred
- Ability to read technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills and commitment to safety standards
Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour
