Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and friendly Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service while handling transactions and assisting with inquiries.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their purchases and inquiries.
- Process transactions accurately.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
- Stocking coolers, LCBO , shelves, processing product returns and intakes.
- Answer phone calls professionally, addressing customer questions or concerns.
- Communicating with team members to ensure efficient store operations.
- Changing garbage, cleaning washrooms and shelves, along with general upkeep to the windows and coffee center.
Qualifications
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Excellent organizational skills to maintain an orderly work environment.
- Previous cashiering experience is preferred but not required.
- Proficient in English
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and cash management.
- Familiarity with phone etiquette for effective communication with customers.
- Experience in technical sales or upselling is a plus.
- Ability to operate POS systems effectively.
- Open availability- must be able to work all shifts.
- Own transportation a bonus.
