The Role: The Anchor on the Ground
We are expanding our paving operations and are looking for a true industry veteran to step in as our Asphalt Foreman / Operations Manager. We run fluid, high-performance crews executing premium residential driveways and commercial lots.
We need a heavy-hitter who knows asphalt inside and out. Whether you are a Master Paver Operator, a veteran Screed Man, or a seasoned Foreman who knows how to dictate the pace of a massive asphalt placement, you will be the absolute anchor on our job sites.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Leading the Spread: Commanding the daily operations of the paving crew, ensuring perfectly seamless mats, tight joints, and zero call-backs.
- Equipment Mastery: Operating or directly overseeing the paver and screed to maintain absolute control over the thickness, flow, and quality of the hot mix.
- Site Management: Dictating the pace of the trucks hot-seating from the plant, and ensuring the ground crew never stops moving.
- Quality Control: Reading the mat, managing temperatures, and ensuring the base prep meets our strict standards before the asphalt drops.
- Safety Leadership: Acting as the primary enforcer of our START safety protocol on the active mat.
What You Need to Bring
- Massive Asphalt Experience: This is not a training role. You must have years of proven experience running an asphalt crew, operating a paver/screed, and managing large-scale residential or commercial asphalt jobs.
- Leadership Chops: The ability to command respect on the site, manage a crew of laborers and drivers, and keep the operation moving efficiently.
- A "Big League" Mindset: A respectful, professional attitude. Leave the ego and the toxic job site mentality at home; we work as one unshakable unit.
- Bonus (But Not Required): A valid Class 3 or Class 1 driver's license is a massive asset to the team, but your asphalt expertise is our number one priority.
