We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and kitchenware are properly sanitized and ready for use. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a positive attitude. Previous experience in food service or hospitality is a plus but not required. Duties
- Wash, sanitize, and dry dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment using appropriate cleaning methods
- Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and ensure proper storage of clean items
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including organizing supplies and ingredients
- Support the kitchen staff by ensuring all necessary tools and equipment are available and in good condition
- Follow health and safety standards to prevent contamination and ensure a safe working environment
- Manage waste disposal efficiently and keep work areas tidy throughout shifts
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy periods
Skills
- Strong knowledge of cleaning procedures and sanitation standards
- Previous experience in restaurant, hotel, or food service environments is preferred
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment, food handling, and basic food preparation techniques
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team
- Attention to detail to ensure all items are properly cleaned and stored
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities during shifts
