Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Line Cook to join our vibrant restaurant team. Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
- Assist in food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and assembling ingredients
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and workstations
- Follow food safety guidelines and proper handling procedures at all times
- Ensure timely delivery of dishes to servers and guests
- Monitor stock levels and communicate supply needs to management
- Support other kitchen staff during busy periods to ensure smooth operations
- Adhere to restaurant policies regarding food handling, sanitation, and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environment preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and meal presentation
- Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Strong understanding of the food industry and customer service principles
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent teamwork skills and a positive attitude
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and evenings as needed
