Position OverviewThe Landscape Maintenance Crew Lead is responsible for overseeing a crew in the maintenance and upkeep of commercial and municipal properties. This role combines hands-on work with leadership responsibilities, ensuring all tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and to Clintar’s high standards.
Key Responsibilities• Lead and supervise a crew in daily landscape maintenance operations
- Operate and oversee the use of commercial landscaping equipment, including mowers, trimmers, and blowers
- Ensure all work is completed to quality standards and within scheduled timelines
- Train and mentor crew members on proper equipment use, safety procedures, and best practices
- Conduct daily site and equipment inspections to ensure safe and efficient operations
- Communicate effectively with management regarding job progress, issues, and client needs
- Assist with hands-on tasks such as mowing, trimming, edging, and site clean-up
What You Bring• Previous experience in commercial landscaping, with leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of landscape maintenance practices and equipment operation
- Ability to lead, motivate, and manage a team effectively
- Experience operating a truck and trailer for equipment transport
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Physically capable of performing manual labour, including lifting up to 50 lbs
