Vessel Type: DP2 Multi‑Purpose Support Vessel

Role Overview
The Motorman will support the engineering team in the safe and efficient operation of all engine room machinery aboard a modern DP2 MPSV. Working under the 3rd and 2nd Engineers, you will assist with machinery checks, maintenance routines, and general engine room duties to ensure reliable vessel operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Engine Room Rounds — Conduct routine inspections, record parameters, and report abnormalities.
- Machinery Maintenance — Assist engineers with maintenance on pumps, purifiers, compressors, and other auxiliary systems.
- Fuel & Lubrication Systems — Support bunkering operations, transfer routines, and lube oil management.
- DP2 Support Equipment — Assist with monitoring and upkeep of thrusters, hydraulics, and cooling systems.
- Housekeeping & Safety — Maintain a clean, safe engine room environment in line with company and regulatory standards.
- Watchkeeping Assistance — Support engineers during watch as required.
Minimum Requirements
- Valid STCW Basic Safety
- Engine Room Rating Certificate (ER or ERM)
- Valid ENG1 Medical
- Previous experience as Motorman/Oiler on offshore or DP vessels
- Good understanding of engine room operations and safety procedures
- Ability to work within a multicultural engineering team
- Right to work in the Canada or ability to obtain relevant visas
Desirable Qualifications
- Experience on DP2 vessels
- Familiarity with Kongsberg, Bergen, or Rolls‑Royce systems
- Knowledge of Planned Maintenance Systems
