Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care, promote oral health education, and support the overall efficiency of our dental team. Duties
- Perform professional dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth to remove plaque and tartar buildup
- Take and develop dental radiographs as needed and make charts including periodontal probing assessments.
- Provide oral health education and personalized care instructions to patients
- Assist in patient examinations and prepare treatment rooms for procedures
- Collaborate with dentists and dental assistants to ensure smooth workflow during patient visits
- Maintain accurate patient records using dental practice management software such as ABELdent.
- Support pediatric patients with gentle care and effective communication
- Assist with orthodontic procedures when necessary including clear aligners .
- Ensure infection control protocols are strictly followed to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff
Skills
- Proficiency with ABELdent software
- Knowledge of orthodontics, pediatrics, and general dentistry procedures
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse patient populations, including bilingual capabilities preferred
- Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to dental care
- Previous experience in a dental office setting is highly desirable
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Compassionate demeanor with a focus on patient comfort and education

Pay: $38.99-$55.70 per hour
