5) Fixed-term contract with renewal options. Contract fee/compensation will go up monthly as the necessary hard & soft skills are developed.

[ Duties ]
- Tasks: Varied. (Including but not limited to: greeting at reception, patient scheduling, multi-phonecall juggling/triage, team coordination, note taking, clinic hand, patient liason, etc.)
- Greet and check-in patients, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments, both in-person and over the phone
- Maintain electronic medical records and update patient information as necessary
- Handle insurance verification and billing processes
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents
- Coordinate referrals to other healthcare providers as needed
- Manage the front desk area, including answering phone calls and directing visitors
[ Requirements ]
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Familiarity with office equipment, including phone systems and computer software
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient information & diplomacy
- Previous experience working in a medical or dental office setting can be helpful
- Proficiency in using electronic medical records systems (EMR/PACS) such as Velox, SIMMS, Intelirad, or similar software (preferred) - Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures (preferred)
