Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of hair styling services including cuts, color, highlights, treatments, and styling according to client preferences.
- Provide excellent customer service by listening carefully to clients’ needs and offering professional recommendations.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all work areas, tools, and equipment in compliance with health regulations.
- Upsell retail products that complement clients’ hair care routines to increase sales and enhance the client experience.
- Manage front desk duties such as scheduling appointments, checking in clients, and processing payments efficiently.
- Build strong relationships with clients through effective communication and personalized service to encourage repeat business.
- Stay current with the latest hair trends, techniques, and industry best practices through ongoing education and training.
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse clients.
- Expertise in hair styling techniques including cutting, coloring, and treatments.
- Knowledge of sanitation procedures to ensure a safe and hygienic environment.
- Ability to upsell retail products tactfully to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue.
- Excellent communication skills for effective consultation and team collaboration.
- Experience with retail sales and front desk operations is preferred but not required.
