We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Server/Bartender to join our dynamic team. Our ideal candidate is responsible for providing exceptional food and beverage service to guests in a fast-paced dining and bar environment. This dual role involves taking orders, serving food and drinks, mixing and serving alcoholic beverages, handling transactions, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking drink orders, and delivering drinks promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
- Monitor guest consumption of alcohol and intervene when necessary to ensure responsible drinking.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments through the POS system.
- Adhere to food safety regulations and maintain compliance with health standards.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and support during busy periods.
- Utilize time management skills to efficiently manage multiple orders during peak hours.
Requirements
- Previous experience in the food industry or hospitality is preferred, particularly in a bartending or server role.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a friendly and inviting atmosphere for guests.
- Proficient in cash handling and cashiering procedures, with experience using POS systems.
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a busy environment.
- Must be of legal drinking age as per state regulations.
