Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate, organized, enthusiastic, and dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care while assisting the dentist during various procedures. This position requires a proactive individual who is detail-oriented and possesses excellent communication skills to ensure a positive experience for our patients.
Duties
- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures by preparing instruments and materials.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
- Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history and treatment plans.
- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment according to safety protocols.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, post-operative care, and treatment options.
- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow in the office.
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient operations and high-quality patient care.
- Handle administrative tasks such as filing, billing, and insurance verification when necessary.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is Must.
- Familiarity with dental software Tracker is preferred.
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry is an advantage.
- Experience in Implant Surgeries, Bone Grafts and Gum Grafts Required.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Certification in dental assisting or relevant training is preferred but not mandatory.
