Bhangu Bross Transportation Ltd. is looking for a Freight Sales & Business Development Representative. We are seeking an experienced candidate in the transportation industry to promote and sell our cross-border transportation services throughout Canada and the United States.
Duties will include:
— Generate new customer leads through cold calling, email campaigns, networking, and referrals
— Build long-term relationships with shippers, produce companies, manufacturers, distributors, and freight customers
— Promote our transportation services and secure new freight opportunities
— Prepare transportation quotes and negotiate freight rates
— Follow up on new and existing customer opportunities
— Work closely with Dispatch and Operations to ensure exceptional customer service
— Maintain knowledge of current market conditions, freight rates, and industry trends
— Represent Bhangu Bross Transportation Ltd. professionally while growing our customer base
Successful candidates will be energetic, self-motivated, possess excellent customer service and communication skills, be confident in cold calling and business development, have previous knowledge of the transportation industry, and be willing to work in a team-first environment.
Experience in cross-border transportation, refrigerated (reefer) freight, produce, or logistics sales is considered a strong asset.
