The Role:
As a Guest Readiness Associate you will be responsible for the care, cleaning, organization, general maintenance and replenishment of supplies at one or more properties in Calgary. This is a critical part of the guest experience as your performance is directly felt by each guest. Other tasks include inspecting properties for damage, charging of electronics, troubleshooting issues and ensuring all maintenance needs are reported and resolved in a timely manner. This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
- Perform general cleaning tasks
- Responsible for reporting damage and highlighting the need for maintenance and improvements to properties that you visit
- Maintain inventory of supplies
- Follow established safety guidelines and procedures while performing cleaning tasks
- Operate power tools and hand tools as required for maintenance tasks
- Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as needed
- The majority of your role (80-90%) will be cleaning a vacation rental property.
- The remainder of your role (10-20%) will be other duties related to the care of vacation rental properties.
- You will be required to work alone and occasionally with other people.
- The location will also vary, although preference to the quadrant of the city may be taken into consideration.
- This role has the potential to grow and expand. We are searching for someone who is motivated and driven.
- Performance will also play a factor in the number of hours worked as we will reward our best performers with more hours.
Skills:
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and coworkers
- Knowledge of power tools and hand tools used in maintenance
- Experience in cleaning preferred
- Excellent time management skills to ensure tasks are completed efficiently
- Ability to clean various surfaces using appropriate cleaning agents and techniques
- Capable of lifting heavy objects and performing physically demanding tasks
- Attention to detail to ensure cleanliness standards are met

Requirements:
- Valid Canadian Drivers licence and clean driving record (depending on the position you are applying into)
- Available from 10:30 AM - 6 PM (or later)
- Speak and write English fluently
- Goes above and beyond without direction
- Clean criminal background check
- Handy-Person skills
