Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM (occasional after-hours work required for special events)

For over 40 years, The Children’s Breakfast Clubs has provided nutritious meals and supportive programs to children across Southern Ontario, serving over 10,000 meals each week in more than 40 communities.
Job Summary:
The Operations and Marketing Coordinator will support the daily operations of our Breakfast Clubs, ensuring smooth execution while assisting with marketing initiatives, programs, special events, and office administration. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented and proactive individual with strong organizational and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
Operations Support:
· Ensure children receive a nutritious breakfast to support their learning potential.
· Maintain TCBC's mandate across all clubs and communicate updates to club leaders.
· Coordinate and oversee monthly food orders with suppliers and club leaders.
· Handle the pickup and delivery of food supplies; manage food handling up to 15 lbs.
· Conduct club visits, complete reports, and maintain records.
· Report any problems or issues to Operation Manager and assist with resolving
· Oversee cash handling and basic accounting tasks.
· Ensure the cleanliness, safety, and maintenance of food equipment.
· Adhere to child protection, food hygiene, and safety policies.
· Foster strong relationships with club leaders, suppliers, school staff, and volunteers.
· Report any problems or issues to the Operations Manager and assist with resolving.
Marketing:
· Assist in planning and executing special events, programs, and marketing initiatives.
· Create visually appealing marketing materials using Canva including event invitations, flyers, social media graphics, newsletters
· Maintain and update the database of key contacts, partners, sponsors, and volunteers.
· Create and manage email campaigns through Constant Contact.
· Maintain and update DonorPerfect pages
· Support website updates (collaborating with website management staff).
· Upload and organize photos and videos on Google Drive for easy access and future use
Administrative Support:
· Handle mailing, photocopying, and filing.
· Answer phone calls and direct inquiries appropriately.
· Monitor and respond to emails via [email protected].
· Receive and organize donated items.
Event Support:
· Provide logistical and administrative support for events.
· Assist in preparing event materials, including swag bags, certificates, and signage.
· Capture event photos and videos for marketing and documentation.
· Pack and transport administrative supplies for events.
Skills & Qualifications:
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to lead and motivate club leaders
· Excellent organizational and time management skills.
· Ability to work well with children and adults alike.

· Patient, flexible, and team-oriented approach.
· Strong problem-solving skills and resourcefulness.
· Ability to develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
· Graphic Design experience and familiar using programs like Canva
· Social media experience and writing blog posts
Education & Requirements:
· Post-secondary education.
· 1-2 years of experience in operations, marketing, or a related field.
· Valid Ontario Class "G" Driver’s License and access to a vehicle.
· Valid First-Aid Certificate.
· Completion of a criminal background check.
