Toronto based irrigation company, looking for a reliable and knowledgeable irrigation technician. Someone who is able to test, repair, maintain, install systems, and operate heavy machinery like Ditchwitch and compressors. Irrigation Technician responsibilities include: testing systems, routine maintenance, troubleshooting and making repairs, driving to multiple locations throughout the day, trenches, installing pipes and lines, controllers, timers, valves, site inspection, loading and inventory for work truck, completing proper paperwork/workorders for specific jobs, planning the work day and maintaining parts inventory, communicating with clients and answering irrigation related questions with assertiveness. Must have positive attitude, love working outdoors, minimum high school diploma or GED, work experience, communication skills, able to work in all weather conditions, lift heavy objects, stand for long periods, problem solving, decision making skills, valid G license and a clean abstract, punctuality and time management skills. This is a Full-Time seasonal position (Monday-Friday with 2 weekends per month). Competitive wages based on experience and work ethic.
