Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Carpenter to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry, woodworking, and construction-related skills, with the ability to interpret blueprints and schematics. This role involves working on various projects such as doors, windows installation, framing, restoration, and installation of wood and other materials.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute projects.
- Construct, install, and repair structures including cabinets, flooring, siding, roofing, and framing components.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and other equipment safely and effectively.
- Assist with construction painting, caulking, siding installation, and other finishing tasks.
- Measure materials precisely and cut components to specifications using appropriate tools.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure project deadlines are met while maintaining safety standards.
- Conduct heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks as needed for project completion.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency.
Requirements
- Proven experience in carpentry, woodworking, or related construction fields such as masonry or roofing.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings accurately.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and construction estimating is preferred.
- Knowledge of siding, doors, windows installation, and cabinetry is a plus.
- Handyman experience or general construction experience highly desirable.
- Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and working in various environments.
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality craftsmanship.
