As a Chef de partie, you play a crucial role in ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently while adhering to food safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards
- Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace
- Follow proper food handling and sanitation procedures
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient service
- Monitor food quality and presentation before serving
- Participate in training new kitchen staff as needed
Skills
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods
- Experience in food service or the restaurant industry preferred
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in food handling
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Attention to detail in meal preparation and presentation
- Previous kitchen experience is an asset.
