Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Skilled Laborer to join our dynamic team in Dryden Ontario Canada. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of manual tasks related to construction, maintenance, and general labor activities. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. The Skilled Laborer will contribute to the successful completion of projects by supporting various operational needs across our facilities.
Responsibilities
- Assist with construction, repair, and maintenance tasks on-site or in the field
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and equipment safely and efficiently
- Follow safety protocols and adhere to OSHA standards to maintain a safe work environment
- Load, unload, and organize materials and supplies as needed
- Support team members in completing project milestones within deadlines
- Perform general cleaning and site preparation activities
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, or technical instructions when required
- Report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions to supervisors promptly
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction, carpentry, or related manual labor fields is preferred
- Ability to operate basic hand tools and power tools safely
- Strong physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods
- Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude towards safety and quality standards
- Full Valid driver’s license is a must for transportation needs on job sites.
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not mandatory depending on experience
