Inside/Outside Salesperson– Metal & Construction Supplies
We are seeking an experienced Salesperson to support growth in metal siding, roofing, rebar, and construction supply sales across ICI and construction market sectors. This role combines technical estimating, account development, and in-warehouse sales support.
The ideal candidate understands exterior building systems, structural materials, and contractor supply environments, and is motivated to grow revenue while protecting margins.
Responsibilities
Sales, marketing & Business Development
- Sell and promote product lines across the following categories: Building Envelope & Exterior Products, Concrete & Structural materials, Tools & Equipment, Electrical & Finishing supplies, Site & Industrial equipment, Flooring & Interior
- Build, maintain, and actively grow a contractor and builder client database
- Create and manage CRM/client contact lists
- Proactively generate new sales opportunities
- Maintain relationships with General Contractors, subcontractors, and developers
- Coordinate with operations regarding inventory, fabrication, and delivery timelines
Qualifications
- Experience in construction material sales
- Knowledge of metal siding, steel products, construction materials and equipment
- Strong organizational and pricing skills
- Sales-driven with business development mindset
- Comfortable working both in office/warehouse environments and outside at the clients’ construction site
