Summary
We are seeking passionate Youth Worker's to join our teams in locations in Stittsville, Carp, Carleton Place and Almonte. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting and guiding youth, helping them navigate challenges and achieve their potential. Your contributions will be essential to our mission of creating a positive impact in the lives of young people.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct support and guidance to youth in various settings.
- Develop and implement individualized plans to meet the needs of each young person.
- Foster a safe and inclusive environment for all participants.
- Collaborate with families, schools, and community resources to enhance support systems.
- Facilitate group activities that promote personal growth and social skills.
- Monitor progress and adapt strategies as needed to ensure success.
- Advocate for the rights and needs of youth within the community.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications
- Experience working with youth with disabilities and mental health challenges is essential.
- Background in child development or related fields is required.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to connect with youth effectively.
- Teaching or mentoring experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive atmosphere.

Scheduling
All fulltime staff must work 2 days on, 2 days off and every other weekend.
All part-time staff must work every other weekend (Friday, Saturday & Sunday) with evening availability.
