The focus of this course is the management of voluntary/ non-profit sport or recreation organizations. The management of key resources, including volunteers and finances, will be covered. Additionally, the current context of these organizations will be discussed.
Position Requirements
A graduate degree (Ph.D. preferred) in an area appropriate for the course (i.e. Recreation, Leisure, and/or Sport Management). Courses in the subject area at a graduate or undergraduate level are required. Demonstrated relevant work experience in Recreation, Leisure, and/or Sport Management, particularly as it applies to volunteer management, will be considered an asset. Demonstrated relevant work experience in online course development and/or delivery is considered an asset.
